Emily Vose, MA,LCSW

Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and English from North Central College in 2010. She received her Masters of Social Work Degree from Aurora University in 2013. Emily has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, families and couples. She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, non-profits and child welfare.

Emily specializes in depression, mood disorders, anxiety, crisis intervention, family/peer conflict, adjustment challenges, self-injury, suicidal ideation and relationship issues. Emily’s treatment approach is individualized to meet the needs of each client. She uses evidenced based treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness. Emily believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship reached through compassion, empathy and trustworthiness. She believes strongly that every person can reach mental wellness through proper treatment. Emily works hard to create a safe, non-judgmental space, in which each individual is able to explore difficulties and challenges.

In addition to her position as an outpatient therapist in Lombard IL and Naperville IL, Emily also holds a position as at Rush Copley in Aurora IL. Emily has provided assessments, crisis intervention, counseling and referral services in the Intake and Emergency Departments. In her spare time, Emily’s passion is traveling and spending time with friends and family.
