Hello!I am a Licensed Social Worker (IL) who provides a warm, supportive, and client-centered approach to counseling. I believe in creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. I take a strengths-based approach and work collaboratively with clients to build self-awareness, confidence, and practical skills to navigate life’s challenges.
Education: I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Dominican University. My education and professional experience have provided me with training in social-emotional learning, emotional regulation, coping skills, and strengths-based interventions.
Experience: I have experience working with children and adolescents in school settings, supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral needs. My work includes self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills. I use these areas to help clients better understand their emotions, build positive relationships, make thoughtful choices, communicate effectively, and develop skills for managing everyday challenges.
My Areas of Expertise: I have a passion for helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-confidence concerns, anger management challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and life stressors. I enjoy helping clients recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and feel more confident in managing their emotions and everyday challenges.
