We understand that you have made the first step to seeking assistance and we know that was not easy. So, as a practice we never want you to feel overwhelmed, our goal is to make the rest of the process as easy as possible.

The next step is to reach out via phone  (630)447-0601 or submitting a request through our website, please leave a message if we do not answer. You will receive a return phone call or email as soon as we able, never longer then 24 hours.

During this first 10 minute intake phone call some basic information will be collected including; your needs for counseling, first and last name, birth date, insurance information, email address, and we will schedule the first session. We understand in today's world it is hard to find time for a 10 minute phone call, so we are able to collect information and schedule your first appointment through email exchange if that is preferred.

Your insurance benefits will be verified before your first session so there is no surprise of your insurance coverage. Insurance can be confusing so please let us know if you need help navigating and understanding your benefits.

Then it is time for you Initial Assessment session.  Which  will be a 45 minute consultation to establish a therapeutic relationship, and a personalized care plan to help you cope and make the necessary changes in life for personal improvement. Your second appointment will be scheduled at this time. The process of counseling is different for every individual, couple, and family, so it is hard to say how many sessions you will require, but we like to the set the expectation on 10-12 sessions.


Accepted Insurance:

We understand that insurance can be confusing at times. We feel it is important that you fully understand your insurance benefits before your first scheduled appointment. Please ask any questions that you may have during your 10 minute Intake phone call.We are BCBS PPO, Anthem BCBS EAP, Magellan, Cigna, and Cigna EAP providers. We also offer a private pay option.
