Anna Lobanova, LPC,NCC

Anna came to the USA from Belarus over 25 years ago and started her career as a college counselor in one of Chicago’ private colleges. Anna is dedicated to learning and supporting individuals that come from a diverse background . Anna helps her clients overcome obstacles and guide them to make choices that positively impact their futre. Anna has training and experience working with clients that are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma.

Anna’s approach to therapy is establishing a compassionate relationships with her clients. Anna believes in development of a warm and nurturing environment, while assisting her clients with evaluating and overcoming constraints to make changes in their lives.

As a therapist, Anna uses a combination of clinical approaches to best address the individual , unique needs of every client, including CBT and DBT.

She feels safe to explore client’s life challenges while also exploring constraints to change in their lives. Anna believes strongly that our sense of personal identity can have profound impact in creating positive change.

She speaks both Russian and English.

In her spare time, Anna enjoys time with family, writing, cooking, gardening, swimming, yoga, and meditation.
